The IMU postgraduate programme leading to the MSc/PhD in Medical and Health Sciences is primarily obtained through research. Research areas include bioactive molecules and drug development, therapeutics, pharmaceutics, cellular mechanisms and molecular basis of pathogenesis, cancer research, clinical research, community-based health issues, nutrition and dietetics, environmental health and behavioural studies. Supervisors are highly experienced faculty members with impressive track record in research and international recognition.
Entry Requirement 入学要求
MSc in Medical and Health Sciences
A Bachelor Degree with minimum cGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the University’s Senate; or
A Bachelor Degree or equivalent with minimum cGPA of 2.50 and not meeting cGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
A Bachelor Degree or equivalent not meeting cGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field.
PhD in Medical and Health Sciences
Applicants are required to have obtained: A Master’s Degree accepted by the University's Senate; or Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree that are accepted by the University's Senate.
