University of Limerick
The University of Limerick is ranked as one of the top 100 Young Universities of the World and #35 in the World for Research Impact according to Times Higher Education. Founded in 1972, UL has grown to be one of the best universities in Ireland. There are four faculties, Science and Engineering, Business, Health Science and Humanities. Studying in UL provides an exceptional Student Experience as well as unrivalled graduate employment rates. The University is located on a large parkland campus with amazing facilities catering for a diverse student population of 17,000, of which, 3,000 are international students. Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT)

Waterford Institute of Technology offers a wide range of courses in Engineering, Science, Health Science, Business, Social Science, Arts and Humanities with qualifications up to PhD. Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT)
Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) founded in 1852 is a multi-campus, public, university-level institute of higher education in the Mid-West of Ireland with an enrolment of around 7,000 students. On course to becoming a Technological University, LIT collaborates with industry to offer career- focused programmes across disciplines including engineering, science, information technology, business, finance, marketing, food & tourism, social-care, humanities, sport and art & design. Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT)
AIT has retained its position as Ireland’s top-ranked institute of technology in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021, the official league table benchmarking the country’s 19 higher education institutions. Student experience scores play a critical role in influencing The Sunday Times rankings for third-level institutes. Introduced into the adjudication criteria in 2018, student experience has the heaviest weighting, giving students direct input into where their college ranks. AIT has continually elicited the highest participation rates of any third-level provider in StudentSurvey.ie, a national survey which considers the holistic student experience, since its inception seven years ago; its students repeatedly report the highest levels of satisfaction with their third-level experience nationally.
Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT)
Galway is a global hub for the medical technology industry with Ireland placed as the epicentre of the European medical device industry. In fact, eight of the world’s top ten med-tech companies are based in Galway, and the medical devices designed and made in Galway are saving lives all over the world.
